I’m a huge fan of indie designers and DIY-ers in general, which is why it should come as no surprise to you that I love etsy. I spend a lot of time browsing the different stores there – everything from handmade to vintage to supplies. And of course, I run my own shop too!
While the site does have a problem with resellers and knock-offs (which makes me sad, especially if the person being knocked-off is someone you know or admire!) there are a lot of really amazing, creative artisans there too.
So here is a list of my favourite etsy sellers! Please note that I don’t own any of these photos – they are all taken from the respective shops. Click each photo to visit the shop!
Jewellery

Magicmiss
A friend from tumblr opened this shop a couple of weeks ago, and she sells adorable hand-made polymer clay hairclips and earrings, as well as bow hairclips and sew-on patches! I’m going to be reviewing her items soon so stay tuned. My favourites are the bone clips and cheeseburger earrings!

Kumacrafts (moved from etsy to their own shop)
Kumacrafts is pretty well-known these days for their adorable Sailor Moon acrylic necklaces. These pieces are extremely popular and sell out so fast you can hardly keep up, but I managed to snag a Chibi Moon necklace back when their first big batches hit the shop!

Ashundiin/The Shundiin Doll
This amazing Navajo artist makes beautiful beaded jewellery and accessories in bright colours – my favourites are the huge mirror Navajo Basket heart earrings! She also does custom bead work.

The Dani Monster
This shop features gothy, but still cute, accessories and jewellery featuring skulls, bats and insects. The large ribbon skull brooches are my favourites.

BloodMilk
One of these things is not like the other. Bloodmilk was one of the first etsy shops I fell in love with – filled with macabre, eerie handmade jewellery cast from bird claws and bones. I love the rings with the claws and pyramids!!

Sparkle Beast Designs
Sparklebeast makes really unusual, cool necklaces using rhinestones – they’re attached to a clear base, which makes it look like the rhinestones are worn directly on your skin! The shop has lots of cool designs available. I’ve wanted one for ages but never get around to buying one…

I’m Your Present
This etsy store is probably one of the most popular… here you can get cute hand-made jewellery (like the super-popular Sweetheart Earrings!) and clothing. Lots of these items feature pastels and cute animal motifs, which I adore!
Accessories

Glitterdisaster
This seller makes the most amazing glitter-filled clutch bags made from metallic leather and clear plastic… If you’re into serious sparkle, this is the place to go! I covet them. Covet, covet. One day I’ll buy one and together we will accomplish great things.

BubbleFusion
This seller makes some seriously neat rave gear, like wings and harnesses in bright colours! If you wanna look like a 1960s space alien, the Cadet Harness is my pick.

CreepyYeha
This shop is run by the most charming girl ever and she makes amazing harnesses, garters and collars! Her style is a combo of cutesy and kinky, if that’s your thing, check her out!

KruKruStudio
If you need a bag shaped like the TARDIS or an airship, this is the place to go. KruKruStudio makes incredible purses and bags out of thick felt, in all sorts of amazing shapes! My personal favourite is the one shaped like a jam jar.
Clothing

TejaJamilla
If custom-printed tights sound like something you’d like, this shop makes lots of cute designs… using motifs like clocks, keys, marine animals and crowns TejaJamilla creates tights in an almost steampunk-esque spirit. My favourites are the narwhal ones. Also – the packaging is super cute!

Knickerocker
This etsy seller makes cute underwear with cool prints and fabrics – everything from florals to galaxy prints and wonder woman-inspired panties!

Pretty Snake
If you love cats as much as I do, you’ll probably like Pretty Snake. They sell sweaters with cat prints and appliqué cat eyes… so so cute! And a bit creepy…
Other

Modern Girl Blitz
This shop has a wide range of cute, feminist goodies! Everything from art prints to pins to patches and necklaces, all with a quirky style & feminist spirit.

King Sophie
King Sophie makes the most incredible custom sequin appliques in any shape and colour you could imagine…I personally really like the eye appliqués.

ALB in Wonderland
Popular tumblr blogger Angelina makes really sweet custom-printed patches, mostly with My Little Pony motifs accompanied by feminist phrases. Perfect for a leather or denim jacket or vest!

EmmaKisstina
This Swedish illustrator makes lots of adorable, super-feminine prints featuring shoes, cakes, cosmetics, jewellery and all sorts of things I love! There are also a few really beautiful silk scarves in her shop. My life goal is to afford one!

Violetpie
If you think creepy, cute old-fashioned toys sound like something you’d like, this designer handmakes the cutest little felted and sewn toy rabbits and bears and cats… you can also get some patterns to make your own!
